eSIMs represents the digital future of SIM cards. If you have not heard about eSIMs, it is because the technology is still relatively new. However, changes in the way our mobilephones use SIM-cards are changing rapidly with some new cellphones only supporting the eSIM technology.
If you are uncertain whether your current cellphone supports the eSIM technology, please take a closer look at the table below. In short, all iPhones produced after 2018, starting from iPhone XR onwards, as well as many new Android phones, are eSIM compatible. Additionally, many iPads, tablets and smartwatches also support eSIM. These will also be able to use the eSIMs found on our site.
If you own an iPhones, you can have up to 20 different eSIMs installed at once, whereas most Android phones limit you to one at a time. Luckily, eSIMs are easily installed and uninstalled so the limit of one most likely will not be a problem for you.
The eSIM technology is ideal for travelling, as you can easily find and install new eSIMs for most destinations. For example, eSIMs are available for popular destinations such as Australia, Thailand, and the US.
